On the 14th & 15th of January, we managed to put the Merbau battens on the face of the retaining wall before the guys came on Friday the 17th to put the pool fence up so we can get it approved and then finally finished off....woohoo!
If all goes well, we will have the pool completed and filled by Australia day.

J. Stevens Said - Those tiles look great Michelle, such a great space and the colour just makes it look enormous. Great idea to continue the look on the alfresco too. I really cant wait to see the pool finished, I hope you get to swim in it by the time your visitors arrive good luck.
Me - Thanks Jo, they really make the pool area sing lol. We love them and the tillers were absolute workhorses working up to 6pm (12 hours a day most days) just to finish off...so happy! You cant imagine how happy I am to have tiles at last on the alfresco....no more concrete dust yay!

Me - Thanks Mark, we're very happy with our choice. I knew they would make the area look even bigger when I saw a picture of them at the tile shop. Definitely worth the $$$ and the extra spend to do square edge coping rather that just have the bullnose like in our other one, I think it finishes the pool off so much better. Yes super stoked to be having my big sis and her family over for a week. Must admit it'll be a little caotic at first (only just being in the home a few weeks), but fun none the less.
