My Inspirations

I've been a lover of all things Balinese for a long time now, especially after spending a lot of time travelling to Asia. I just love my collection of Buddha statues and Buddha heads, Asian prints and tropical plants. Even though most of this was incorporated in our last home, when we decided to build again, I wanted to have my own piece of Bali and give our new home a 'Resort Style' feeling.

Here are some of my ideas and inspirations

this Buddha looks very similar to the one we are having on the plinth of the pool

I just love these bamboo fencing panels...I hope to have these on the back wall of the pool

we will have Merbau timber retaining walls around the pool

this is how I invasion the view we'll see from our hut overlooking the pool

Birds of paradise

I'd love to have clumping Black Bamboo in the garden

My beautiful Frangipani trees remind me of my childhood...mine are a yellow colour

I love the use of off white stone pavers with the black pebbles or vice versa
