We went from this-26ish m2 plan...

to this - modified to 42m2

The changes we made to the original plan include:

1). extend width of study to 3m

2). add third car garage with drive through access

3). change internal access from garage to create a powder room

4). reverse laundry and theatre to provide access from garage to laundry

5). add 5m wide formal lounge adjacent to bed 2, extending master bed out to rear

6). extend alfresco to be in line with master bedroom creating an alfresco grande'

7). extend ensuite to under eave to create hallway to master

This baby was the best $30 I've ever spent, it allowed me to design a 1:100 scale of our house and pool as it sits on the block for developer approval. It also allowed me to place furniture throughout the house...magic 

Now I can see exactly how our furniture will look once we move in. Having a 1:100 scale also helped me with measuring the areas for both the tiles and carpet to get a rough idea of how much was needed and indeed cost so we could budget for them.
