SOLD!

I'm sad but excited at the same time as tomorrow we say goodbye to our beautiful dining table.

Hahaha, and you thought I was talking about the house didn't you!!!!!!!

After having it for well over 6 years now, it's withstood 4 moves. The first being when we moved from WA where we bought it brand new when we moved there in 2004, then back to Sydney in '08 where we rented a home while our previous home was being built, then to that home in '09, then to the rental we stayed in last year while this house was being built and now here

If looked after as well as it was with us, I reckon it'll last another 10 years or so.

And no, I'm definitely not going to miss cleaning that darn glass top everyday...lol

Having no dining suite will feel and look strange for a little while, but I'm looking forward to our new one when it arrives (hopefully) soon.

I know the new one will fill the space so much better, still being an 8 seater, it'll look a lot bigger due to the table being rectangle instead of square.

The chairs will be leather so a little more luxurious and definitely more comfortable (esp if wearing a skirt or shorts) but I dare say cold at first on cooler nights.

Having a dark coloured timber table will go a lot better with the charcoal kitchen and the chairs will be white which will be a nice contrast.


Here's a last look to remind you...or maybe it's just my way of trying to let go!
